		<description>Isn&#039;t this so cool. I would love to get my hands on one so that I could figure out exactly how it works. But it seems to me that it could be used to educate in the classroom- at least it would be a little fun. I also think it would be great to use with really little kids, maybe even younger than school age, just to introduce them to the possibilities of music</description>

		<description>I have to say that I quite enjoyed your lesson this day!  Cinnamon Bear, while not completely utilized throughout the whole lesson, was a very effective prop.  I truly enjoyed how you communicated with him…as if a stuffed bear could really talk ;)  The questions you asked us were engaging and you did great with the positive reinforcement.  I also liked the fact that you reviewed the basics before jumping right into the piece, it was very effective.  I thought the building of the instruments was a well thought out aspect and also very effective, however, as you mention in your post, it may not have been necessary to continue with the clapping of the rhythms before playing since they were so simple.  BUT…this may be a good concept to keep in the lesson when teaching it to actual first and second graders.  Review is always good!  I LOVED that you had the class as a whole perform the rhythms before isolating a certain student, failure is always scary!  The fact that your instrumental parts were easy and strategically placed made the whole experience a lot more memorable, since we were able to play AND sing at the same time!!!  Overall, very age appropriate and well taught…even though you did punish me!!!!!!</description>
